Imerco to open a new store in Aalborg Storcenter
Imerco, Denmark’s largest, nation-wide housewares chain, has signed an agreement to open a new store at the Aalborg Storcenter shopping centre. Aalborg Storcenter is the biggest shopping centre in Northern Jutland, welcoming more than 6 million visitors in 2009. The new store will open in late October 2010.
Over the past few years, Imerco Holding, the company behind the Imerco chain, has opened and taken over a number of housewares stores as part of a new, expansive strategy. Today, Imerco has nation-wide coverage in Denmark with more than 155 stores. Imerco plans to expand the store network in Denmark by an additional 20-25 Imerco stores in the years ahead.
